For a Temporary Best-Friend Fix, Rent a Dog (Kibble Included) for a Day

Not exactly animal law, but so odd that I'm posting it anyway:

Seems there is a business in New York City called "Flexpetz" that offers daily rentals of companion animals. Check out the entire New York Times article by Vincent m. Mallozzi here...

Hi Amy,

It seems as though just about anything can be rented nowadays!

If you currently process credit cards in your practice, you are probably already aware of the Visa/MasterCard rate increase. Rates should only increase by 5-10 basis points (0.05%-0.10%). If you see an increase of anything more than that, contact your merchant service provider and negotiate a better rate.

Thanks,

Diane
