Harbinger of change?

As someone who's actually litigated one of these awful cases, I was encouraged to see that an article of this nature appearing in Law Enforcement Today.  Not that an article is enforceable, but hopefully it is at least a sign that the culture of shoot-first-ask-later may be ready to change...

Hi there, this is the 3rd time I try to contact you to remove a link to a website I'm managing as a SEO. It won't take you any longer than a few minutes, let me know how much are you charging for that. I'm not asking this thing for free but if you don't reply back to me I'll be obliged to report your blog as webspam.

Hi - I've checked into this. It's not something I set up and doesn't seem to be anything I can control either. One link seems to have embedded itself without me, but when I click on it, it goes to DogTV. Not sure what to tell you. If you'd like to discuss this further, pls use info@animalhistorymuseum.org. I rarely blog here anymore. Thx.
